Every year, about 2,800 determined young men and women from outside Israel, choose to leave the comfort of their homes and families to travel to Israel, enlist in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), become proud soldiers, and make Israel their home.

These volunteers from abroad are called LONE SOLDIERS because their immediate family and friends do not live in Israel, and so although they undergo the same intense military training and take the same risks as their fellow soldiers, they do it without the support and help of their loved-ones.
I have committed to complete the Super Spartan Race in Miami, Florida on February 25, 2012 to raise funds for a flight for one of these brave soldiers to visit his/her friends and family abroad and spend one of the next Jewish holidays with them. The average cost of a round-trip flight is $1,200.
I am asking MY family, and friends to join me in reaching the goal of sponsoring one flight for the amount of $1200.
I know that together we will easily achieve this goal.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of my cause.
